Learn about publications who operate as part of Area Councils on Aging
This session discussed how the panel publications interact with their local Area Councils on Aging. Some are a branch of the government agencies, others partner with them in part. It is well worth watching to see how you might approach a partnership with your local government agencies. This panel discussion included David Washburn, Publisher of Senior Voice(Alaska), Gerald Hay, Publisher of The Best Times(Kansas), and Stuart Rosenthal, Publisher of The Beacon Newspapers(Washington D.C.).
